Miami Art Galleries
Miami Wynwood Arts District and Miami Design District are at the center of Miami’s arts and design communities in Greater Miami. Wynwood has over 50 art galleries, 4 museums/major collections, great bars and restaurants. Wynwood is located off I-95 and Biscayne Boulevard, from 20 to 36th street, south of the Design District.
There is an energy happening in Miami Art community. There’s a beautiful metamorphosis happening in a rough section of town. It’s exciting to watch and to participate.

The Robert Fontaine Gallery, located in the Wynwood Arts District is a unique contemporary space within Miami’s burgeoning creative arts environment. The gallery provides a widespread platform for emerging, mid-career, established and master artists ranging in historical scope from the origins of American Pop Art to the most current evolutions of digital media, conceptual installation and urban interventionist (aka ‘street’) art.

Black Square Gallery opened its doors in 2010, in the heart of Wynwood, Miami Art District, to present contemporary art processes and selected artists to collectors and all art-lovers. Interacting with our visitors, clients and represented artists, we complement the gallery exhibitions with creative discussions, lectures and master classes. The gallery takes part in 5-7 international art-fairs annually, and we organize 6-7 shows in the gallery space per year.

After 20 years of experience in the international art world based in New York and Miami, Dina Mitrani opened her gallery in November of 2008 focusing exclusively on photography. The gallery’s mission is to create a platform where artists and art enthusiasts have the opportunity to appreciate and engage in artistic dialogues created by emerging and established photographers. Collaborations with independent curators and other art institutions to produce important photo-based exhibitions are an important element of the gallery’s program. Advisory services are available to novice and established collectors, both private and corporate.
