Veteran Miami Developer, Tony Goldman, Dies at Age 68

September 13th, 2012

The landscape of South Beach and The Wynwood Art District in Miami, can undeniably be owed to development pioneer, Tony Goldman. Last Tuesday, September 11, 2012, the entrepreneur passed away at home with family by his side, according to leading reports across the nation. His work was not only evident in Miami, but it can also be seen throughout other popular locations, such as New York’s SoHo and Financial District, Boston, and Center City in Philadelphia.

Back in the eighties, Mr. Goldman envisioned South Beach as a place of luxury, when it was in a debilitating state. Many would agree that Mr. Goldman had the ability to see opportunities, where others saw skepticism.

Had it not been for Mr. Goldman, South Beach Miami Real Estate, as well as The Wynwood Art District, would’ve possibly adopted another route in development.

Highlights of his legendary contribution to the Miami Area Real Estate include Goldman partaking in a serial acquisition process, wherein he purchased one property each month for one and a half years.

Mr. Goldman’s portfolio of properties includes renowned restaurants and hotels. Most notably is the Tiffany Hotel, the Park Central Hotel and dozens of other luxury properties in the region.

Gateway to Wynwood Building has 2 Spaces Left!

September 12th, 2012

Some see Wynwood Arts District’s revival coming full circle these days with the addition of a Ducati showroom soon to be on the main artery of the district.

“Ducati, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, will open a showroom, retail store, repair shop, and possible café in Wynwood before the end of the year. It will be located at the southeast corner of Northwest 2nd Avenue and Northwest 29th Street at the entrance to what is becoming known as the Wynwood café district.”

Lucky investors can still get in on the ground floor of the project with two spaces within the building still available. The café space is still available for rent. 1150 square feet dedicated to café space is available within the building at a negotiable annual rental rate, while 2,600 SF of designated street retail space is available at a rate of $35 per square foot per year.

“Benefit from high visibility, as this signature building sits at the entrance of Miami’s hottest new neighborhood within the designated Wynwood Café District and minutes from the Design District and Midtown.”
