Designers Carlos Ott and Yabu Pushelberg, will come together for the first time to develop a new waterfront condominium property in Aventura. It will be called Echo.

Reports have surfaced that there are two new Aventura condos in the works for an undeveloped private island. The secluded location meets Sunny Isles Beach and Aventura half way on the Intracoastal Waterway, according to Condo Vultures.

The history of this Aventura real estate island dates back to the fifties, where the U.S. Department of Transportation constructed its foundation as a manmade island, accessible by a two-lane bridge. Last year, the island was listed for $49.5 million dollars.

If plans are approved, The Village At Island Estates will feature two, eight-story towers, that will total 148 units. The land space is assessed at 13.5 acres,  and it would be counted as the 70^th planned luxury condo in Miami, Florida.

The Village At Island Estates would feature spacious condos, a pool, cabana, tennis courts, boat slips and more.

It’s uncertain however, if these plans will follow through. The Aventura Florida real estate island can still be portioned into at least seventeen home lots that range in size between 16,000 to over 26,000 square feet, according to Condo Vultures.

Aventura is home to many expensive homes and properties. The atmosphere ties in seamlessly with luxury. Just east of this Aventura Island, lies The Bellini at Williams Island luxury condos, which are now listed on sale. Next door the private island is also the  Aventura Marina, consisting of at least 21 relatively new single-family homes.
